Ditch the regular orange juice and the morning Pilates. Kickstart your Sunday with these delicious drinks at Brunch!
1. Pear and Rosemary Gin Fizz
The only green juice you should have on a brunch.
Ingredients:

60ml gin with 100-125ml chilled pear juice.

Juice of 1 lemon, plus lemon slices, to serve.

1 rosemary sprig.
-
60ml chilled soda water or Tonic.
2. Bloody Mary and Cheddar
Tomatoes are good for skin but Bloody Mary is great for my liver! With the cheese pairing is now a brunch staple.
Ingredients:

4 cups (1L) good-quality tomato juice.
-
100ml vodka or bourbon.
-
Worcestershire sauce, to taste.
-
Tabasco sauce, to taste.
-
1 tsp each celery salt, Dijon mustard, wholegrain mustard & cornichon brine.
-
5cm piece fresh horseradish, grated, or 1 tbs jarred.
-
1 lemon wedge, ice, & cornichons, drained, to serve.
3. Holiday Spritzer
The only Vitamin C is in the orange juice in my mimosa? Absolutely not! Here’s a fun quirky drink to have.
Ingredients:

45ml Aperol.
-
30ml Martini Bianco (Italian vermouth).
-
1/2 cup (125ml) limonata or traditional lemonade.
4. Fizzy Rum and Pineapple Shrub
Have a family brunch and need something strong to sit through it?
Ingredients:

1/2 cup drained canned crushed pineapple.
-
1/2 cup (125ml) good-quality white rum.
-
3 cups (750ml) sparkling wine.
-
Bitters, to serve.
5. Mimosa but with a cherry on top!
Why should cherry be seen only in the jam next to your breakfast toast?
Ingredients:

200g fresh cherries, seeds removed.
-
1 1/2 cups (375ml) freshly squeezed orange juice, chilled.
-
750ml bottle chilled prosecco.
